AI Use Cases: The Future of Work with AI
Last week, I wrote about AI twins, which could play a crucial part in our lives in future.
Here is another article in the series.
Due to AI, the future of work is changing fast. I predict it won’t look like what we know today. Low-level execution tasks will be automated, leaving us to focus on bigger things.
Here's how I see things will unfold.
AI agents will do the low-level work; employees will edit It
We’re moving to a world where entry-level roles will reduce dramatically. Instead, managers will have a team of AI agents alongside employees. AI agents will do first-level design, writing, and coding, leaving most people to edit the work. The grunt work will disappear. AI will now do in seconds what was once a task for a junior employee.
Most human employees will shift to being an editor, working with AI outputs. Execution will become a commodity; it will be about how well you can work alongside AI agents.
White-Collar Jobs Are in Trouble
The impact here will hit white-collar jobs hardest. Repetitive, process-driven tasks will become obsolete. The focus will move to creating value and outcomes. Only Jobs that survive will be to drive results, not just create outputs. The future isn’t enough for people who are doers; it’s for the thinkers and builders who know how to deliver value using the tools at their disposal.
The ride of the One-Person Builders
In the short term, we’ll see more “one-person builders.” These individuals will do everything—from ideation to launch—without needing big teams. Why? Because the build itself will no longer be the hard part. The challenge will be knowing what to build, how to test it, and how to sell it. You won’t need a big team to execute anymore; you’ll need the right ideas and AI tools to bring them to life.
Outcome Over Outputs
The entire industry will shift to outcome-focused work. It won’t matter how long something took or how many people worked on it. What will matter is the result. Features will roll out faster, products will hit the market sooner, and companies that deliver quickly and efficiently will thrive.
This is where AI will shine, taking care of the execution so that humans can focus on strategy and outcomes.
Distribution will become the Real Moat
As building gets more accessible, the real differentiator won’t be how you build but how you get it into users’ hands. The moat for businesses will shift from building to distribution. Knowing how to sell and distribute effectively will be what sets companies apart. Getting products in front of users will be more important than ever.
Are We Preparing Our Kids for This World?
This future makes me wonder: are we preparing kids for this reality? Schools and universities still teach core skills, but the future demands learning to learn, problem-solving, and critical thinking. With execution becoming a commodity, the key skills will be those that help understand how to use AI tools rather than how to do the work themselves.
The Future Boils Down to This
The future of work will be about knowing what to build, how to sell it, and using AI to execute. Execution won’t be the competitive edge anymore. Success will come from understanding your users, leveraging AI to speed up the build, and mastering distribution.
This is where I see the future of work heading. The companies that thrive will be the ones that figure out how to adapt, sell, and distribute in this new landscape.
